Sony Ericsson concept Cell phone

Knowing his love for new phones, one of his friend sent to him a mail informing that Sony Ericsson will launch this phone soon. This phone doesn’t exist at all and is just a mock. Looks nice and the creator puts an imaginary 2GB storage, 3.2 megapixel camera, radio and bunch of other features in this sleek phone. But who is “HE”? Who care?

The minute Xun Chi 138 cellphone

If you think Samsung's latest line of Ultra Edition handsets are not only small but slim, think again. The Xun Chi 138 cellphone from China measures a mere 2.64" long, putting even some Bluetooth headsets to shame with its diminutive. What can you cram into such a small package? Apparently, quite a lot. The Xun Chi 138 comes with a 1.3 megapixel camera, GPS connectivity, a built-in MP3 player, and touchscreen functionality which does away with the keypad. Feature casualties include Bluetooth connectivity and a memory card slot. We doubt you'll see the Xun Chi 138 make a debut in the U.S., but there's always the import store if you want one. via

Treo 680 confirmed

It is no surprise that news of an upcoming Treo is guaranteed to get your adrenaline pumping and RSS feeds burning. Industry moles have confirmed that the widely speculated Treo 680 is not vaporware but will be made available to over 20 networks across the globe. The Treo 680 is a low-end handset which does not feature 3G connectivity, so it would be prudent not to expect the moon. How much do you think a device like the Treo 680 will cost, considering the fact that it comes with a paltry VGA camera that harks back to the Treo 600 days? At least the antenna has disappeared for good. via

Thompson GE 2830 DECT Skype phone

It seems that everyone is jumping on the DECT bandwagon these days, making it a pre-requisite when it comes to developing cordless headsets and handsets. Thompson has entered the DECT fray with the GE 2830 that comes with a base station which hooks up to a PC and standard Skype software, enabling you to carry out your Skype conversations without being tied down to any one spot. Features of the GE 2830 includes a 100-name address book, a standby time of 120 hours, and 10 hours' worth of talk time. Is it worth investing $149 in the GE 2830? It all depends on the amount of your Skype usage really. Just take note that a standalone wireless Skype phone has a notoriously short battery life, so make sure it is being charged when not in use. via http://www.voip-sol.com/thompson-ge-28300ee2-cordless-dect-skype-phone/ د

Lenovo i807 encased in pink

The Lenovo i807 is one feature packed cellphone that seems to target just the female sex with its bright pink color, unless you're a testosterone-laden hunk who has a strange fetish for the Paris Hilton look. HTC working on Libra device

HTC is currently hard at work developing the new Windows Mobile-powered device that will feature the standard numeric keypad as well as a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. Codenamed 'Libra', this new device packs in both keypad and keyboard into an extremely portable dimension that resembles a standard candybar cellphone, which makes it much smaller than current HTC devices with a slide-out keyboard. The HTC Libra will support EV-DO Revision A networks, with a CDMA version ready to roll out in Q1 which will be followed by a GSM version shortly after. via

First 3.2 – Mega pixel Camera Phone

America's new 3.2 mega pixel camera from Samsung is one of the best camera phones. The Samsung SCH – a 990 is a cell phone with a pretty high quality camera. This gadget phone's camera is one of the best ones. In countries like Japan the phones with 10 mega pixel cameras are usual and it is not a big deal for them. However, the appearance of the high quality 3.2 mega pixel camera is a big deal for Americans.

Besides having a good camera this gadget phone is a good phone itself. It is a pretty big cell phone and it is as thick as two Motorola Razrs stacked together. However, the size is not the main disadvantage of the phone. I think that it is too easy to use the phone however some features are hidden in the depths of menu. However, the overall note is that this is a comfortable phone to use. It has a Micro SD expansion slot but there is no card when you buy it. You have to buy the card yourself. Well, this gadget has 72 MB of internal memory so it is enough at first. The music can be played from the card memory and from the phone memory which is a good thing. Let's talk about the main advantage of this gadget phone: the 3.2 mega pixel camera. To take shots you can flip open and rotate the cover around. It rotates 180 degrees and then you just close it back with the screen turned to the outside. It automatically activates the camera mode and you see the shots using the 2.2 inch screen. This camera makes pictures and it records videos too.

You can take the pictures 2048 x 1536 pixels pictures with this phone. The outdoor pictures are perfect and I have even made a poster out of a picture made by this phone. The pictures made inside turn out not as good because they have some noise. I would like to say that the video quality is very nice and you do not see any squares when you play it. It records sound too, just like a good camera phone. The camera's biggest disadvantage is the one to two second shutter lag. This is a big problem because I sometimes move the camera before it takes the shot. The other situation is when you ask somebody to take a picture of you. If not told they always move the camera before it makes the shot. However, after you have taken a shot you can edit the picture in any way you want. You can resize pictures, rotate them, you can even merge two different pictures together, you can apply some effects like sketch and blur. There is one cool function about this phone: it has a TV out cable.

That means that you are able to look trough the pictures using you TV. I have never met a phone that would have a function like this. I have noticed that when you send a picture as an e-mail or in a text message it makes the picture smaller. From its original 300 KB – 500 KB it changes it to 100 KB and you loose the quality of the picture. The files can be also transmitted via Bluetooth or USB cable (You have to buy one.) Generally this is a very great cell phone gadget and it has a really coo high quality camera. It is very expensive too. The Verizon Wireless can sell it to you for 0 with a one year contract. Good high technology gadget costs very much.

Samba Integrated Tri Band GSM/GPRS Engine

The Samba from Falcom is an extremely useful device that acts as a wireless EDGE modem for notebooks and UMPCs, allowing you to make or receive calls over the GSM network and send/receive faxes at the same time. Make sure you plug in your SIM card beforehand in order to gain such functionality. Just remember to take out the SIM card and place it back where it really belongs - inside your cellphone so that you won't turn the notebook into your primary calling device. Of course, EDGE surfing speeds are nothing much to shout about so you are better off looking for a WiFi hotspot to do your bit of Web surfing. با ستفاده از این دستگاه میتوانید از سیم کارت برای کانکت شدن به اینترنت یا دریافت فکس یا تلفن بزنید.

Sharp ‘es’ W-Zero3 Gives PDA Phones a Facelift

Japanese mobile company Willcom along with Sharp and Microsoft have launched their second product in the PDA phone series, the “es” W-Zero3 to initially tap the Japanese Market. Where the previous version Sharp’s W_ZERO3 looked more like a PDA, the “es” W-Zero3 is quite conventional and supports the Windows Mobile 5.0 designed for Pocket PC. ‘es’ W-Zero3 comes with a 2.8” VGA screen, Xscale CPU (416 MHz), 128 MB Flash, mini SD expansion, 64 MB of SDRAM, 1.3-mega pixel camera and all this packed in a sleek 56 x 135 x 21mm frame weighing just 175gm. It is also enhanced with a 2nd keyboard which is more user friendly for writing e-mails and texts.Another vivid feature it offers is the optional 1Seg expansion pack for the digital TV. The stylish design and enhanced features in “es”W-Zero3 are quite attractive but still no WiFi, Bluetooth or 3G folks! Moreover, you ought to be in PHS network, which is limited to some area. No doubt, it may not work properly in cars or trains. The form factor is worth appreciation, but while I can live without BT, they still don’t have wireless? That is a big turndown, personally.
