We have already seen the name Ferrari with a range of paraphernalia, from laptops to sunglasses to segways. Now, the Italian automotive manufacturer Ferrari and real estate developer Aldar Properties are taking on Disneyland with the Ferrari’s very own theme park. A Foundation Stone Ceremony was held lately in Abu Dhabi to officially announce the start of construction of one of the most multi-dimensional and hotly-awaited themed entertainment attractions in the world, the Ferrari Theme Park. The 250,000 square meter (62-acre) park will open its doors to visitors in the year 2009. A large portion of desert on the island of Yas will be reclaimed and will boast 24 attractions, including a 70-metre high G-Force Tower and the world’s first F1-branded twin rollercoaster ride.

he news of ASUS’ upcoming bamboo notebook, the Ecobook, created a lot of buzz in the month of March earlier this year. The Ecobook, scheduled for a 2008 release, will be the first laptop made of real bamboo. The ASUS’ green Ecobook aims to be as environmentally friendly as possible as ASUS is aiming for a 50% recyclable rate. The laptop touts biodegradable bamboo around the mouse pad, keyboard, and on the exteriors. The trackpad will also include a handwriting function that would let you use your fingers or stylus to enter text. The circular PowerGear button will glow red or green to indicate the amount of power being consumed. The internal components haven’t been finalized yet. I know you are finding it tough to wait for the release. Well, you can check out the picture gallery for now to soothe your eyes.

This is quite a big problem but here is a simple solution for this problem.

The Datexx ULTRABattery is a 2200mA rechargeable battery inside a plastic housing that uses five different adapters, including an adapter for charging USB devices, which can power most of the portable devices. An appropriate iPod adapter is not included in the kit it is to be purchased separately for $7.99.

On the left sleeve there is a control system that consists of five buttons: play/pause, forward, rewind and volume up/down. Inside the jacket there is also a pocket for the iPod, and since the jacket is water-resistant you can be listening to some music on rainy days and there won’t be a problem.

Unfortunately, capturing everything that was written on the whiteboard proves to be an almost impossible task unless you have a digital camera http://www.plus-vision.com/en/product/copyboard/m-11/index.html
with you. The M11 Copyboard is different as it is capable of printing all your scribbles and mad scientist formulas out on a printer, or saving all the written data onto a USB flash drive instead. The M11 Copyboard apparently uses paper that scrolls underneath a scanner, turning data into digital bits for the USB flash drive or for the printer to interpret. There is no word on pricing details as at press time.

If you ever wished, how wonderful it will be if you can turn things into gold just like King Midas, then we can’t help you with the magic. But, we sure can help you fake that magic with things like Gold camera and this 24ct Gold HP Laserjet Printer. Though, we personally doesn’t think high of this cheap-looking HP LaserJet thing but let’s be a sport! The printer is plated in 24-carat gold and as you might have figured its not a original from HP. The gold body is coined by an artist Andres Serrano. The printer is on display at GITEX, Dubai and the auction starts at about $300…let’s see how much it ends for…any guesses!!
