First 3.2 – Mega pixel Camera Phone
Besides having a good camera this gadget phone is a good phone itself. It is a pretty big cell phone and it is as thick as two Motorola Razrs stacked together. However, the size is not the main disadvantage of the phone. I think that it is too easy to use the phone however some features are hidden in the depths of menu. However, the overall note is that this is a comfortable phone to use. It has a Micro SD expansion slot but there is no card when you buy it. You have to buy the card yourself. Well, this gadget has 72 MB of internal memory so it is enough at first. The music can be played from the card memory and from the phone memory which is a good thing. Let's talk about the main advantage of this gadget phone: the 3.2 mega pixel camera. To take shots you can flip open and rotate the cover around. It rotates 180 degrees and then you just close it back with the screen turned to the outside. It automatically activates the camera mode and you see the shots using the 2.2 inch screen. This camera makes pictures and it records videos too.
You can take the pictures 2048 x 1536 pixels pictures with this phone. The outdoor pictures are perfect and I have even made a poster out of a picture made by this phone. The pictures made inside turn out not as good because they have some noise. I would like to say that the video quality is very nice and you do not see any squares when you play it. It records sound too, just like a good camera phone. The camera's biggest disadvantage is the one to two second shutter lag. This is a big problem because I sometimes move the camera before it takes the shot. The other situation is when you ask somebody to take a picture of you. If not told they always move the camera before it makes the shot. However, after you have taken a shot you can edit the picture in any way you want. You can resize pictures, rotate them, you can even merge two different pictures together, you can apply some effects like sketch and blur. There is one cool function about this phone: it has a TV out cable.
That means that you are able to look trough the pictures using you TV. I have never met a phone that would have a function like this. I have noticed that when you send a picture as an e-mail or in a text message it makes the picture smaller. From its original 300 KB – 500 KB it changes it to 100 KB and you loose the quality of the picture. The files can be also transmitted via Bluetooth or USB cable (You have to buy one.) Generally this is a very great cell phone gadget and it has a really coo high quality camera. It is very expensive too. The Verizon Wireless can sell it to you for 0 with a one year contract. Good high technology gadget costs very much.
